Co-Founder & Chairman
R. L. FOREE, JR., is president of Foree Oil Company and Co-Founder and Chairman of Foree International. Foree companies have been continuously in the oil and gas and gas industry since 1919 and have participated in the discovery and/or development of several multi-million barrel oil and gas fields as well as two multi-billion barrel oil fields. These fields are located throughout several of the most prominent geologic basins/provinces in the USA. The Foree companies have utilized “state of the art” exploration, drilling and completion methods which has enabled the companies to establish an outstanding success rate during the last sixty years.
Mr. Foree is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists since 1952 and was president of the Dallas Geological Society 1971-1972 and is now an honorary Life member. He is an active member of the Society of Independent Petroleum Earth Scientists and has been a member of the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners (TIPRO) since 1954.


John Zetzman (MBA)

JOHN ZETZMAN has more than thirty years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has experience in the management of projects in several areas in the USA as well as international operations. As CEO of Foree International, LLC, Mr. Zetzman assembled and managed a team of drilling, engineering and geological professionals to evaluate and drill and produce unconventional gas projects in North America, Europe and Africa. Operations included management of multidisciplinary teams, identification and evaluation of projects, sourcing materials and coordinating contractor services. He has evaluated conventional and unconventional plays in Africa, Europe and North America and was one of the first to identify the shale potential of South Africa in 2001 where he submitted the first application for a shale gas license in the Karroo, believed to contain in excess of 300 Tcf of gas. As a part of his company's advisory practice, he identified and acquired a 2.5 million acre frontier shale project in Canada for an international oil and gas client and identified and managed an early entry opportunity into the Permian Basin Wolfcamp shale play for an international oil and gas client. Mr. Zetzman earned a BS in International Trade at Texas Tech University and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Mr. Zetzman is a member of The American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), The Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN), Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), Petroleum Engineers Club of Dallas (PECD), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the ADAM Energy Forum of Dallas

John Guffey, P.E.
Vice President, Engineering
JOHN GUFFEY has been involved in the oil and gas industry as an engineer for over thirty years. Mr. Guffey has held Engineering positions for Unocal in Thailand, BP-Amoco in Holland, and Texaco offshore Malaysia. Additionally, he has served as Operations Manager for Cairn Energy PLC (China) and SOCO Thailand. He worked as Drilling Engineer Specialist for CuuLong JOC (Conoco-Phillips JV) in Vietnam, General Manager and Operations Manager for HEYCO International in Morocco and as Senior Drilling Engineer for BP Vietnam. Mr. Guffy currently serves as Director and Engineer at Seapex Energy to identify stranded oil assets for future development. Mr. Guffey who is from Dallas, TX, holds a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, and a Master of Engineering: Geological Sciences from Cornell University. Mr. Guffey is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and AAPG.
