Central & Western Europe
Europe presents many attractive opportunities for the independent oil and gas company. Infrastructure, stable political regimes, attractive product prices and established network of industry contacts are advantages.
Southern Africa
An established natural resources industry infrastructure compensates for limited oil and gas infrastructure. An acute need for energy translates to attractive product pricing. Fiscal regimes are also attractive.
USA
Ample infrastructure, availability of data, access to world class technical talent and world class petroleum systems make the USA one of the more attractive places for oil and gas exploration and production.
Central & Western Europe
Foree International reviewed numerous projects in Europe prior to the acquisition of its first gas prospect in the Czech Republic. The Company initiated relationships with local experts in the minerals extraction industry in order to facilitate data gathering, acquisition of concessions, permitting and communication with government and municipalities. The Company continues its work with local experts in other venues within Europe in the acquisition of oil and gas projects.
Southern Africa
Foree International first established a presence in Southern Africa in 2001, where the Company was the first to apply for onshore oil and gas Exploration Rights under the new MPRDA. An independent third party engineering report on an 800 acre portion of these Rights established in excess of .96TCF of 2P, 3P and contingent reserves. Other acreage in the initial Exploration Rights were calculated to have contained in excess of 1TCF OOGIP. This project has been granted the first onshore gas production rights ever granted in South Africa. While the Company sold these projects, the company continues to work on additional projects in Southern Africa.
USA
Though Foree International was founded to take advantage of opportunities outside the USA, the Company continues to pursue projects in the USA as well. Foree International has prospected for, drilled and produced natural gas in the Appalachian Basin of North America. These projects are located in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. Low domestic natural gas prices have made continuation of these projects less attractive in recent years, but the Company still maintains its database, contacts and operatorship in these regions.
